2013 Sierra HD Power & Handling

The 2013 Sierra HD offers plenty of configurations with three cab styles, two bed sizes, single or dual-rear wheels and 2WD or 4WD. A 6.0-liter gasoline V8 is standard, rated at 360 horsepower in 2500 models and 322 hp in everything else.  The 6.6-liter turbodiesel with 765 pound-feet of torque is fully competitive with Ford's Super Duty and other top competitors. The Sierra offers five available suspensions, including an off-road-oriented Z71 package and the NHT enhanced trailering package. The 5.3-liter V-8 features fuel-saving cylinder-deactivation technology.

2013 GMC Sierra HD Design

The '13 Sierra HD shares its mechanical elements with the Chevy Silverado HD, but they are not visually identical. The Sierra gets its own grille, lights, trim, wheels and badges. Denali models use unique elements of those distinctive parts to separate themselves from other Sierra HDs. The Sierra's cab is spacious and well-organized. Leather seating is available on the SLE and standard on the SLT. The SLT also gets a Bose stereo and a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat. The Denali trim is the most luxurious of any GM pickup truck with upgraded trim and materials.

GMC Sierra HD heavy-duty pickups are well-suited for real-world use. They can haul tons of brick and cement and tow the concrete pump, then turn around to be used for a night on the town or grocery shopping while the fifth-wheel's left in camp or the horses are in the corral. If your load is heavy or you do a lot of towing, then the Sierra HD is the ticket, especially with the diesel. IFor more on this model visit the official GMC Sierra HD Website!
